Brake Fluid Check and Top Up

Chapter 8 · Manual page 325

Brake fluid is highly toxic, keep containers sealed and stored out of the reach of children. If accidental contact of brake fluid is suspected, seek medical attention immediately!

Prevent brake fluid coming into contact with the skin or eyes. If this occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If eyes are still red, painful or uncomfortable, seek medical attention immediately! The brake fluid level should be checked weekly when the system is cold and with the car on level ground. Clean the cover first before opening the brake fluid reservoir. The brake fluid level can be seen through the reservoir and should be maintained between the ‘MAX’ and ‘MIN’ marks.

Do not allow the level to drop below the “MIN” mark or rise above “MAX” mark.
