High Voltage Disconnection
Chapter 7 · Manual page 304
When the power system can be turned off normally, rescue services can disconnect the high-voltage output by first turning off the power system, then disconnecting the negative cable of 12V low-voltage battery, and finally the manual service disconnect (MSD) switch. In an emergency, the high-voltage output can be disconnected by disconnecting or cutting the negative cable of 12V low-voltage battery and then the manual service disconnect (MSD) switch. Disconnection of 12V low-voltage battery
- Open the loadspace and remove the loadspace carpet and storage box.
- Disconnect or cut the negative cable of 12V low-voltage battery.

After turning off the power system, the high-voltage circuit can remain active for at least 1 minute. Disconnection of Manual Service Disconnect When disconnecting the high voltage, the operators should wear insulated personal protective equipment and use special insulated tools:
- Open the loadspace and remove the loadspace carpet and storage box.
- Remove the manual service disconnect.

When the manual service disconnect is removed, measures must be taken to prevent foreign objects from entering the manual service disconnect base.
Prior to working on, or dismantling the high voltage system or any of its components special equipment (voltmeter, etc.) should be used to confirm whether the voltage of high-voltage circuit is within the safety range (the voltage must not be greater than 30V AC and 60V DC) before the corresponding operation.
