Suspension System*
Chapter 2 · Manual page 61
Electronically Controlled Suspension* Some models in this series are equipped with electronically controlled suspension. Compared with the traditional suspension system, the electronically controlled suspension system has the advantages of improving the driving comfort and stability of the vehicle, reducing the load change of the tyres, shortening the braking distance, mitigating the vibration in the vertical direction of the body, etc., all this balances the stability and comfort of the vehicle. Models fitted with the electronically controlled suspension system feature three suspension damping adjustment modes. When the vehicle is stationary, the user can customize the suspension stiffness in the Driving Settings on the central screen as required.
- Soft: The dampers provide a small damping force for adjustment.
- Moderate: The dampers provide a moderate damping force for adjustment.
- Hard: The dampers provide a large damping force for adjustment. Air Spring* Some models in this series are equipped with air sprung suspension. Compared with traditional steel springs, air springs can change the height of the vehicle as required, improving ride comfort and the driving trafficability. The air sprung suspension system features a rough terrain mode and adjustable vehicle suspension heights: high, medium, low. When the vehicle is stationary, the user can customize the suspension height settings in the Personalized Driving Mode on the central screen as required.
The driving speed affects vehicle height. When a certain driving speed is reached, the vehicle height will be lowered automatically to ensure driving safety.
The air spring suspension system will self-test and top up the gas within the system, this will create a sound when the air compressor works to replenish the system, which is normal.
Suspension Service Mode* In the General interface of central screen, there is a “Suspension Service Mode”. It is necessary to press the button to activate “Suspension Service Mode” before the vehicle is subject to lifting for maintenance, traction for shipment, tyre replacement, etc. Press the button again to deactivate “Suspension Service Mode” after maintenance, traction for shipment, etc.
