Wireless Charging of Mobile Phones

Chapter 2 · Manual page 77

Illustration: Wireless Charging of Mobile Phones The wireless charging function supports the charging of certain mobile phones without the use of cables using electromagnetic induction. Note: The wireless charging function only applies to WPC QI certified mobile phones. The mobile phone wireless charging area is located at the centre console, and the wireless charging function can be used when the vehicle is powered on. Note: Only one mobile phone can be charged at a time. Note: In order to achieve the optimum charging effect, place the mobile phone on the wireless charging panel completely, and align the centre of the mobile phone with the centre of the wireless charger (position of the charging area character). Note: When the driver is not in the vehicle, do not charge the mobile phone in the vehicle to avoid potential safety hazards. Note: Wireless charging of a mobile phone may be intermittent when driving on bumpy roads. If the mobile phone deviates from the charging area and stops charging, you may need to move it back to the chargeable area. Note: The sizes of different brands of mobile phones are different, and the positions of charging coils in the mobile phones are different. Please adjust the position of mobile phone appropriately. In addition, the shell of some mobile phones may affect wireless charging. If the mobile phone cannot be charged properly, please make sure that there is no foreign matter in the wireless charging area or wait for the wireless charging area to cool down before further attempts. If it still cannot be charged, please contact an Authorised Repairer. Note: When the wireless charging system is being used, make sure that the smart key and/or NFC card is 20cm or more away from the wireless charging area. Do not place coins, IC cards, metal keys or other items comprising of a large amount of metal in the wireless charging area with your phone. This may result in the failure of wireless charging function and create a safety hazard.
