Chapter 5 · Manual page 230

Rearview Blind Spot Detection The rearview blind spot detection function transfers the images taken by the camera directly behind the vehicle to the driver screen to provide a wider and clearer field of vision than interior rearview mirrors. This function is enabled and disabled by controlling the roller on the right of the steering wheel upward and downward, respectively. The display length of rearview blind spot image can be set in Central Screen - Vehicle Settings - ADAS. After the intelligent rearview blind spot detection switch is turned on, the rearview blind spot detection will be enabled in the following scenarios:

  • Automatic emergency braking is triggered; Side Blind Spot Detection Turn on the side blind spot detection function switch, use the direction indicator switch to select a side, when the speed is below 93mph (150km/h), the driver screen will display the real-time image of the blind spot behind the selected side. The side blind spot image cannot be displayed in the following scenarios:
  • Around View Monitor is enabled;
  • In Super Energy Saving Mode;
  • The intelligent Pillar A blind spot detection switch is turned on and the speed is below 12mph (20km/h) (the rear left blind spot image cannot be displayed);
  • The vehicle has just been powered on. Intelligent Pillar A Blind Spot Detection Turn on the intelligent Pillar A blind spot detection function switch, use the direction indicator switch to select left turn when the speed is below 12mph (20km/h), and the left driver screen will display the real-time image of the front left blind spot. The Pillar A blind spot image cannot be displayed in the following scenarios:
  • Around View Monitor is enabled;
  • In Super Energy Saving Mode;
  • The vehicle has just been powered on. Dynamic Zone Tracking(DZT) The Dynamic Zone Tracking(DZT) function can quickly identify pedestrians or non-motorized vehicles at risk in the left turning area and mark them with a red box in the blind spot image. Especially when driving at night with poor visibility, it can help you judge the risk in the blind spot. Function activation: You need to activate the side blind Zone image function first, and then turn on the Dynamic Zone Tracking(DZT) function switch. Note: Dynamic area tracking objects are only triggered in the left blind spot area, and the dynamic area tracking function is automatically exited when the vehicle speed exceeds 18mph (30km/h).
