Smart Key

Chapter 2 · Manual page 20

The keys of this vehicle contain coin / button batteries. The battery is HAZARDOUS and is to be kept away from children (whether the battery is new or used).

A lithium coin / button battery can cause SEVERE or FATAL injuries within 2 hours or less if it is swallowed or placed inside any part of the body.

If you think batteries may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, please seek medical rescue immediately.

A smart key and an NFC card are provided that can operate all locks of the vehicle. A mechanical key blade is also provided, which can be used to unlock the door mechanically in emergency. Diagram showing: Door lock/unlock button

  3. Spare key The smart key will only work within a certain range. Its working range is sometimes influenced by the key battery condition, and physical and geographical factors. For safety consideration, after locking the doors using the smart key, please recheck that the vehicle is locked.

When operating your vehicle with the smart key, avoid placing it near the devices with strong radio interference (such as notebook computers and other electronic products), or the normal function may be affected.

If your car is equipped with induction-type wireless charging function, always keep the key more than 20 cm away from the mobile phone which is being charged to prevent the key being subject to any interference from the wireless charging device.

The smart key contains delicate circuits and must be prevented from impact, high temperature, humidity, direct sunlight and liquids.

Replacing smart key The keys supplied to you have been programmed to the security system on your vehicle. Any key that is not programmed to your vehicle can not start the vehicle. If your key is lost/stolen or broken, a replacement can be obtained from an Authorised Repairer. The lost/stolen key will lose the function of starting the power system. If the lost key is found, the After-sales Repairer can reactivate it.

Any key made independently outside of the Authorised Repairer Network may not start the power system, and may affect the safety of your car. To obtain a suitable key replacement, it is recommended that you can consult an Authorised Repairer.

The new key cannot be offered to you immediately because it requires programming to the vehicle by the Authorised Repairer.
